ORP - Drain field to support showers and bathrooms

I have some wonderful news! It has been publicly announced on the ORP website that the drain field to support showers and bathrooms is under construction at Oregon Raceway park. You can view the announcement at the following. link

The posting says that the drain field is built to support a 6000 person weekend. I'm sure there will be more announcements as to what will be connected to the drain field and when, but for now the drain field is going in!

Oh yea.. Cell towers too..

There were also two new cell towers put in between Moro and Grass Valley. For now they only seem only to be Verizon towers, I didn't have any ATT service when we visited the track December 10th. I have a guess that Verizon customers will be rather happy this year.

If you are an ATT customer you can use this app to tell ATT that you want service at ORP... I do once per week or so.

not to burst anyone's golden throne bubble. The announcement is for the drain field.. not the bathroom complex.. Please don't count on having the facility in 2014 until ORP announces it as more than a drain field.

There'll be tours of the drain field and new pump controls given upon request through the ORP office.

Otherwise there are other dates on the calendar where it might be convenient to survey the improvements.

March 15th, March 29th, and July 25, 26, and 27th. At some point a christening, of some measure, may be in order.
